Open days for Garden City masterplan

A series of events will take place to inform the public on the Ebbsfleet Garden City masterplan and its implementation.

The Ebbsfleet Development Corporation (EDC) and its development partners are organising five Garden City open days, where the masterplan will be presented and people will be able to ask questions relating to the project.

The EDC said the events will be organised on Saturdays and early evenings in order to try to involve the largest possible number of attendees.

The first event, introducing the masterplan, will take place on Saturday 24 September 2016 from 10am to 2pm at Millbrook Garden Centre.

The second, at the Observatory in Eastern Quarry on Thursday 6 October (time to be confirmed), will see the participation of Camland Developments, Land Securities, Ward Homes, Persimmon Homes, Circle Housing and Dartford Council.

Dartford will also be at the event held on the following Saturday, 8 October, from 10am to noon at the Swanscombe and Greenhithe Town Council Hall, along with Gravesham Council, Tarmac and London Resort Company Holdings (LRCH), the company promoting the development of London Paramount entertainment resort in the Swanscombe peninsula.

As well as the two borough councils and LRCH, the following event, at Ebbsfleet International Station, on Wednesday 19 October from 4-7pm, will be attended by developers Countryside and Redrow.

Keepmoat and the Housing and Community Agency will join Tarmac and Gravesham Council at the final event at St Botolph’s Church in Northfleet on Saturday 29 October from 10am to noon.
