Primark opens at Bluewater
Fashion brand Primark opened a new two-floor store last month at Bluewater Shopping Centre.
Crowds gathered at the shop’s opening on 13 March. Primark has created more than 400 jobs, at the popular centre in Greenhithe.
The store, which covers 4,273sq m and is open seven days a week, offers women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, as well as footwear, beauty and home items.
It has free wi-fi inside the retail outlet and offers late-night shopping hours on Monday to Friday until 9.30pm.
Simon Gibbs, Primark’s retail director for the UK and northern Europe, said: “We’re delighted to open a new store in the Bluewater Shopping Centre, bringing amazing fashion at amazing prices to the people of Kent and surrounding areas.”
The shop launched last month in time for Bluewater’s 20th anniversary celebrations, which were held on 16 March.
The thriving centre now offers more than 300 stores and 50 food and drink destinations, a trampoline park and an IMAX cinema.
Last week, the centre opened its newest addition of a pop-up selfie-taking experience available until 5 May.
Selfie Factory gives visitors the chance to have photos taken in a range of unique settings, such as a giant ball pit and confetti cove, providing special moments that are "ideal for the Instagram generation".
