Off-plan sales at Castle Hill

The first apartments in a new 112-home development at Castle Hill were sold off-plan last month.

Developer Barratt Kent announced at the beginning of November it had secured 11 reservations, following a preview event on 8 October.

The scheme includes one, two and three-bedroom apartments. The new homes will be released in phases, with the first completions expected in early 2017.

Pam Reardon, sales and marketing director of Barratt Kent, said it was “no wonder” that buyers were seeing the potential of investing early in the new apartments at Castle Hill.

“This part of Kent is set to become a magnet for local homebuyers and businesses over the next 15 years and the village of Castle Hill will be a major asset for the wider community, as well as its residents,” he explained.

Castle Hill is part of the Eastern Quarry site, which will deliver more than 6,500 new homes when complete.

Facilities at the site will include shops and leisure facilities such as country parks, tennis courts, play areas and outdoor events space.

The site will also host a new school, Cherry Orchard Primary, which will provide places for more than 400 students and is due to open in September 2017.

Barratt Kent’s apartments at Castle Hill will launch formally next year with a show home.
